The Celebrity Big Brother house is in lockdown after bosses had to engage emergency security protocol following a breach. The housemates are said to have been forced inside and shutters pulled down after a drone flew to the house and managed to make it to the garden after cruising over the huge venue.
At the time, two of the celebs from the show which airs on Virgin Media in Ireland were outside, with Michael Fabricant enjoying some fresh air while Mickey Rourke was getting one of his workouts in. The two soon got back inside the house and security performed a full lock down, but are now working to review footage to figure out what exactly breached the house. Mirror UK contacted the ITV, who declined to comment.
A source claimed: "It was a major security breach. Flying a drone over the house is one thing but to be able to as good as land it in the garden meters away from the stars is terrifying. Michael was the first to spot the drone and pretended to shoot it down while Mickey was baffled."
The added to The Sun: "All the housemates ran to the doors to see what was happening but Big Brother quickly pulled down the shutters. Security is now being reviewed."
A video has since appeared on TikTok by the aptly-named @thedronemenace, which seems to show footage from the very drone responsible. The clip begins outside studios affiliated with ITV in London, with a pointing out the security in the area before stating: "Alright, let's get to it, see what we can see."
The footage then cuts to the CBB garden, with Mickey using an exercise bike while Mickey stands next to him. The former Tory MP pretends to shoot at the drone, while the Hollywood star continues cycling and simply looks up at it with crossed arms. In the final clip, huge metal shutters are shown rolling over the windows leading into the house.
Alongside the video, the mysterious drone user wrote: "Step inside the Big Brother house with me as I mingle with the stars! But just as the fun begins, the unexpected happens—lockdown activated due to the Drone Menace! Watch as secrets unfold and tension rises! Will the celebrities handle the pressure? Stay tuned for exclusive footage and behind-the-scenes drama you won’t want to miss!"
In a later video posted this afternoon, the TikTok user adds a longer cut of their investigation into the house, revealing Mickey turning to the drone and waving at it to follow him as Michael held the door open while waiting for him to return to the house.
Just seconds after they got back inside - with the other housemates visible jumping up to see what's going on through the windows - the shutters began unfurling.
