Powder is an alternate version of Jinx.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Powder was born to Felicia and Connol, the younger sister of Violet, better known as Vi. Growing up, Powder had a good relationship with her sister and her parents. However, when her parents died during a battle on the bridge between Piltover and Zaun, she and Vi were the only people left in their family. After the battle, Vander found the two siblings; he adopted them and raised them as his own, alongside Mylo and Claggor. At some point, Silco became a part of this family upon making amends with Vander.

At some point in her childhood, Powder became friends with Ekko.

Vi’s death and Consequences[]

In this reality, Vi died in Powder's arms in the Hextech crystal explosion during the break-in at Jayce’s lab, due to 3 crystals being dropped instead of 1, creating a much bigger explosion. Though events in the immediate aftermath are not detailed, it is revealed that enforcers arrived in the devastated lab to find Powder crying over Vi's body while Mylo and Claggor looked on in shock. It is implied these enforcers took pity on the trio due to the circumstances.

The long-term consequences of this change were many. These included Vander and Silco reconciling, preventing the Piltover-Zaun conflict from escalating. A full rapprochement between the sides occurs instead, leading to free movement between the halves of the united cities and improved conditions in Zaun. Neither Hextech nor Chemtech is ever invented, with Powder concealing the only 3 remaining hexcrystals in a shrine she builds in memory of Vi in her hideout. Powder, Ekko, Mylo, and Claggor all become students of the Academy, with Powder also working at the last drop over Vander's continued objections that she should be doing something more worthwhile. She and Ekko are dating.

Personality[]

Powder is lively and bubbly, showing great care for her family. She’s taken the role of the caretaker of her siblings and developed a romantic relationship with Ekko. Vander has a talk with her (apparently one of many) where he tells her she’s “too smart” to spend all her time in a bar and insinuates that her family is holding her back. Powder counters, saying she is happy where she is. She shows the same talent of being an inventor as she did as a child and seems gentle and caring. She mourns her sister and has a small memorial in her laboratory, including a small doll that looks like Vi. She handles the grief well despite her pain and talks to her sister often.

Appearance[]

Powder has small breasts, muscular arms, a small waist, and rather wide hips. She has fair skin, blue eyes, and blue hair with a pink streak on the left side, seemingly in honor of her sister, Vi. She has thick bangs and typically wears her hair up in two small space buns. When down, her hair reaches her shoulders. Her makeup is natural and light. She typically paints her nails light blue but alternates to all purple at the party. She wears a choker necklace as well as Vi’s necklace.

She wears a teal cropped vest with bright pink accents and some black and gold embellishments along with brown overalls that has one strap which slings over her left shoulder and the other strap that isn't fastened over her shoulders which slides off slightly exposing maroon pants underneath with a black belt that has a gold buckle worn over it. She also has a maroon side pouch held by a thicker black belt that has two teal stripes and a golden buckle on it with a smaller black pouch attached to her right overall strap, the left side of her trousers is long and reach her ankle with a black warmer on it while the right side of the trousers is rolled up to her knee and a small black pouch attached to it her outfit is completed with red socks.

At the party, she wears vibrant blue and pink eye makeup along with a jacket and dress with two piercings in her left ear.

Abilities[]

• Powder is a skilled scientist and student of the Academy. Her technical inclinations run towards helpful devices instead of weapons.

Trivia[]

• Despite not going through the exact same life path as Jinx, this version of Powder appears to still have the same mental conditions her main universe counterpart has but is able to manage it better due to having a healthy support system around her.
• Powder's secret laboratory is the same location as Jinx’s hideout.
• Powder secretly kept a stash of 3 unrefined Hextech crystals in Vi’s shrine.^[1]
